Our youth ministry goal at First Colony Bible Chapel is to make disciples of Jesus Christ. This broad goal helps give purpose to the many different ways young people interact with our church.
On Sunday mornings they have the opportunity to participate weekly in our Communion service. During Sunday School we offer age appropriate bible lessons for both Junior and Senior High school students. Finally, during our Family Bible Hour they join our congregation for worship, praise, and teaching.
Our Wednesday night youth group, MORE! is from 6:45 – 8 p.m. This time includes games, student led music, Bible teaching, and small groups. Every week the Gospel is proclaimed clearly, it is important that students can be confident that their friends will hear the good news if they join us. We close each night with small groups, a time where adult volunteers can build relationships and encourage our students in their daily walk.
Youth events outside church promote discipleship by giving students opportunities to serve, edify the body of Christ, fellowship, and study his word, with their peers and adult volunteers.
We believe that together these ministries will help us make Disciples. First by students believing the Gospel, second by them belonging and participating with our local body of Christ, and finally by them becoming MORE!, living life with purpose, to give glory to God.
