Our goal in the Men’s Ministry is to build our relationships with God and our families. It is not just about the church ministering to men but it is also about men ministering to one other, our families, the church body, and the community. Our aim is to be men who are fulfilling the biblical role of manhood by leading through service and modeling Christ-like integrity. Come and be a part of what God is doing in and through the men at First Colony Bible Chapel!
Men’s Prayer: Every Saturday morning at 8:30 am.
Work Days: This could be as simple as hanging a wooden fence, a little more sophisticated as replacing a garage door, or occasionally a large project on the church campus.
Men’s Breakfast: On the third Saturday of each month (with some exceptions), we embellish our regular Saturday prayer meeting with a great breakfast. This is a great time for fellowship, to hear a testimony from one of the men, and be challenged by a brief lesson from God’s word.
Men’s Retreat at Sandy Creek Bible Camp: Sandy Creek Bible Camp is a wonderful place for a Men’s retreat. This year we enjoyed some sports, great food, work projects, testimonies, messages about inspiring men from the Bible and history, and much more. Future retreats will be advertised through our Facebook page, bulletins, and flyers.
Other events: In the past, these have included cookouts, group bible studies, Astros games, and other events. Feel free to suggest other activities and perhaps volunteer to lead these activities.
