Teaching Team

Over the past few years, the Elders have given us a ministry focus each year to guide us towards being more effective. This year’s focus is “Assured of God's Faithfulness” (Philippians 1:6). As we experience and enjoy the new things that God is doing in our midst, we also endeavor to be ever-mindful that our ultimate confidence is in the faithful character of God. What God begins, he brings to completion.

Gerard Figurelli

Pastor/Teacher

As a graduate of Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte, NC and a Ph.D. student at Baylor University, Gerard has studied under some of the top Christian thinkers in the country. In his preaching and teaching, Gerard seeks to integrate the proclamation of Jesus Christ as Lord with a reasoned defense (apologetics) of historic Christian doctrine against today's philosophical and ideological currents that contradict and undermine the gospel.

Gerard and his wife India have been married since 1992 and together they have five precious children. In his spare time, Gerard enjoys his dogs, meteorology, sports, a deserted beach, and just about anything "Texas."
